3 day Trekking in the Area of Mae Taeng PDF Print E-mail
3 day trekkingInto the trekking area of Mae Taeng we pass curvey mointainroads with phantastic view. We stop for lunch at a beautyfull Waterfall and have a short Stop at the Hot Spring, here we can relax for a while in the hot mineral water. The following trek (3-3,5 hour) bring us to a Karen-village, here we have dinner and stay overnight. After breakfast we walk (about 3 hours) through the densy forest visiting another Karenvillage. Before we start Elephant-Riding (2 Hours) we have lunch at the village. Riding through the jungle we reach a Lahu-Village were we stay overnight. Next morning , after breakfast, we start Bamboo-Rafting (2,5-3 hour) to reach the last spot of our tour. A Shan-Village is waiting with lunch for us . We have some time to explore the village and the beautyfull landscape, then return to Chiang Mai. 2200 Baht/Person .

Trekking in Chiang mai Leaving Chiang Mai, we drive to an elephant camp and enjoy Elephant-Riding about 1 hour into the jungle. After, a short treck (30-40 min.) will bring us to a Meo-Hilltribe-Village, we have a look to their daily life, walking back (40-50 min.) to our car.Lunch in a local restaurant. We go on to visit a Karen-Hilltribe-Village. We relax at a cosy waterfall (don’t forget your swimming dress) and start a wonderfull trip

Trekking in Chiang mai

Leaving direction north-west we will stop at the local market of Sanpatong for fresh supplies. We go on to see a waterfall were we have lunch and relax for a while.Following the road,we make a short stop to see a very old temple.We reach the end of the road and start trekking 2,5 –3 hours up the mountains to visit a Meo-Village, here we have dinner and stay overnight,sleeping in traditional bamboo-huts. After breakfast, take an exercise walking to a Karen Village about 1 hour.Explore the village before we return to the car-parking.Then drive to a Shan-Village. After Lunch we go on with Bamboo-Rafting (about 1,5 hour) and continue with Elephant-Riding (about 1,5 hour) into the jungle.After that we return to Chiang Mai. Price 1800 Baht/Person.
