Many ups and downs Fishing in April and May in Thailand 2010 This was due to the very hot and dry weather conditions which can slow fishing down very much. However there were good sized fish being caught in the early morning and at nighttime by our customers including large Giant snakehead, Alligator gar, Striped catfish and Sorubim catfish. We were desperately waiting for a few days with rain, but different from former years, the monsoon arrived very late this year. Lure fishing at the reservoirs and dams in Chiang mai was poor, according to the low water levels there, only jungle perch being caught recently.
