siamese carp fishing in Thailand with Dreamlake fishing resorts

With the first rain in may, carp fishing became better at Dreamlake. The Fishing for predators was average but with good sized alligator gars, feather back and red tail catfish caught. The best baits over the month were dead baits presented using a ledgering setup in the deep parts of the lake. June was excellent for lure fishing at Mae Ngat and Mae Kuang Dam, specially in periods with heavy rain when the snakehead enjoy the flow of fresh food into the reservoirs and are actively hunting.

At the end of June the carp fishing tends to start to be very good in the late afternoon and evening, with specimen up to 60lb already taken.  The best time for snakehead  will also come soon in july and august.
